The help that you need

But your way

Our vision

Wolseley’s principles of inclusion, community, and access to justice are the guiding ideas here. But what does that mean? It means that we are always taking a look at ways that lawyers can improve people’s interactions with the legal system; it means that we’re going to try to find the best solution for you but that we’re not afraid to stand on principle when we need to; and it means that no matter where you’re from, you should feel welcome coming in and bringing your issue to us.

Wolseley Law is focused on balancing professional legal services, helping in the community, and our prioritizing our families and the people who work for us to ensure that we are practicing in the most ethical way possible, not only in law, but in life.

Who is Wolseley Law?

Gerrit Theule and Tim Brown both live within walking distance of our office. Kara is a little further afield but still a Winnipegger through and through. Gerrit was raised in Wolseley and is involved with many local community organizations. Tim has a passion for helping small and medium sized businesses and believes that a trusted advisor can make all the difference in the world whether it’s in business or in in our private lives. Kara has a drive to do things differently and improve access to justice for all people.

True community law

You’re not just the neighbourhood that we do business in, you are our neighbours in life. Whether it is buying a home, adopting a child, starting a business, or planning for the future, we will make sure that we treat you like a friend, because often, you are. We want to make Wolseley Law a place that we can be proud of and that you can feel comfortable coming to with any issue, large or small.

We’re here to try to make the process as clear and easy as possible. If your matter is suitable for flat fee billing, we’ll set a flat fee ahead of time. If your matter can be split up so that we handle some of it and you handle some of it, we’ll give you the option of trying to save you money that way. If your matter needs to be a traditional, hourly fee matter, we’ll let you know as soon as possible so that you can plan ahead.
